Thank you for booking a farm stay in our silo, The Traveler, located at 3270 H D Atha Road, Covington, Georgia 30014.  Please look over this document to verify accuracy of your reservation information.  Please sign, date and send back to us via email at [email protected], along with a copy of your valid drivers license.  This form should be returned to us within 48 hours of booking to secure your stay.  If you have any questions concerning your reservation, please contact us at the number listed above.  We hope you enjoy your agritourism stay on our farm!

RENTAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to our peaceful getaway and thank you for choosing us as your hosts.  Please take a moment to review the rental policies to ensure that everything is in order for your upcoming trip.  Your signature and payment of your booking validates your acceptance of, and agreement to, the following policies and procedures.  Please carefully review each section and initial as needed throughout the document.

RENTAL CONFIRMATION FORM:

Please provide us with a copy of your valid drivers license.  Occupancy of a rental property will not be granted without this valid, signed document in our files by uploading a photo of your license in the field below.

If, during your stay in a silo, a rental guest(s) causes damage to real or personal property of the rented property, the rental guest(s) will be held liable for any damage, repairs and/or replacement of such property and will be charged to the payment method on file.

WEATHER:

We do not offer any refunds, in whole or part, due to inclement weather.

CLEANING SERVICE:

The total cost of the reservation includes cleaning service upon departure.  If the silo and/or the area surrounding the silo requires additional cleaning beyond routine departure cleaning service at check-out, you may be subject to additional charges.  Towels, sheets, blankets, or furniture may not be removed from the property at any time.

Candles are strictly prohibited!

ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES

The Guest must report any loss or damage to the silo or its contents within 3 hours of arrival to the Host in order to not be held responsible upon departure.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

The minimum age for booking is 25 years old. Reservations made under false pretense are null and void and check-in will not be allowed and guests will be asked to vacate the premises.  This policy includes reservations made by parents or guardians who do not check in, and/or who leave overnight during the length of the stay.

OCCUPANCY AND MAXIMUM GUESTS

The maximum number of guests for the silo, The Traveler, is two guests.  This unit has one king size bed.  This includes all individuals no matter the age.  Guests who exceed the maximum occupancy are subject to immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rental payments.  Non-compliance with these policies could lead to an eviction and/or charges incurred if damage is present.

• CHECK-IN AFTER 3:00P.M. ON CHECK-IN DAY:
• Check-in time is after 3:00p.m. (EST).  Please let the Host know if you will be arriving late.
• CHECK-OUT BEFORE 10:00A.M.

Incoming guests are anxious to check into the silo that you are leaving.  In the event that you are late checking out, a late fee of up to one night’s rental rate will be accessed and a return housekeeper fee of $25.00.

DEPARTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

It is your responsibility to leave the silo reasonably clean and in damage-free condition.  Additional cleaning charges may apply if the silo is not left in reasonable order.  Please discard all items from the refrigerator, clean all food from dishes and utensils.  Trash must be secured in a plastic bag and disposed of in the trash can provided outside of the unit.  No trash or food items shall be left inside the silo.  All used towels should be placed in the shower.  Please ensure the silo is locked and the key is returned to the lock box upon departure.

PETS

Pets of any kind are strictly prohibited in and on the property!  Non-compliance with this policy will result in immediate eviction and the forfeit of payment.

SMOKING POLICY

Our farm is a smoke-free environment.  Smoking and/or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited inside or outside of the silo. Violations are subject to an additional charge of $500 plus the expense of any necessary cleaning. Violations may also result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of payment.

MAINTENANCE

During your stay, please report any maintenance problems to the Host.  No refund or rate adjustment will be made for unforeseen failures such as the supply of electricity, water, air conditioning, heat, television, internet or appliances  Non-emergency maintenance items can take up to 48 hours to complete.

Maintenance repairs will be made in a timely manner to the best of our ability, no refund or rate adjustment will be made to the reservation.  Should there be a scheduled maintenance that we are made aware of, you will be notified at the phone number you provided.

SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL PROPERTY

We are not responsible for any acts of theft or vandalism, or other damages to any personal property or for personal items left by Guest at departure. Check your belongings completely before departing.  If housekeeping finds any item(s) that the guest(s) left behind, we will do our best to contact you to let you know.  Please make sure the door is closed and locked upon departure.

INDEMNIFICATION OF HOST BY GUEST

We are a working tree farm and there is equipment moving around the property daily.  We also have customers coming in and out of the farm on a regular basis.  There are dangers throughout the property, as we dig trees, work on our irrigation system, etc. Our farm is located in a rural area and you might see deer, snakes, raccoons or other types of wildlife roaming the property.  We also have a chicken coop so you’re likely to see some chickens roaming around.

We shall not be liable to guest(s) or to any other party for damages to property or for the injury to persons upon the premises from any cause whatsoever including defects in the premises or otherwise.  Guest shall indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all liabilities, claims, expenses, fees, loss of use and actions of any kind arising out of guest’s use and occupancy of the premises.

We are not responsible for any loss of valuables.  Guest acknowledges that Host, property owners, and employees cannot be held responsible regardless of fault, for any accident, loss, damage or injury suffered by renter, members of their party or any other guests which the renter or their party have allowed access to the property, regardless if loss is a result directly or indirectly from acts of God, dangers incident to the breakdown of machinery, equipment, acts of government or other authorities, delay or cancellations of or changes in itineraries or schedule or from acts of omission.  Furthermore, the renter will release and hold harmless any and all parties involved with the rental, management, and reservations of the property and to release and hold harmless it’s owners or representatives for any loss or damage to personal property or for any injury and/or death.
